Hello my dear friends,
The Pesach season is upon us. The countdown has begun. Life will only get busier now, and I probably won’t be on this blog again till after Pesach. That’s a long stretch.. So much happening. BH, simchas, and nebach, terribly sad occasions too. Life is a whirlwind of ups and downs. Hard sometimes to keep the balance.
A dear friend and mentor, Yendelle Roitenberg shared with me how she really works hard on Pesach in creating a Chag Kosher V’Sameach. Yendelle indicates that for her, the kosher aspect is relatively easy. Creating an atmosphere of simcha, a Chag Sameach, throughout the 8 days of Pesach is more challenging and may take a great deal of effort. I’m grateful to Yendelle for sharing this thought with me. I too will be working intently on creating a Chag Sameach this year, as well as a Chag Kosher. I hope to feel Hashem’s presence in my life as I keep my senses keen, on the lookout for instances of Hashgacha Pratis. I’m reading through various Haggados, preparing myself for the Seder, so that I too will feel as if I personally have been redeemed. I’m being proactive as I anticipate different scenarios with family members, both young and old, praying that I maintain my equilibrium and my simchas hachaim throughout. I’m eagerly awaiting the blossoming of our trees, so that I can recite the magnificent brocha. The blossoming trees thrill me. They hold the promise of rebirth. The day follows the night. The spring follows the winter.
There is much joy up ahead. Wishing you all the very, very best. May this coming Pesach be inspiring and meaningful as well as enjoyable, for all. Chag Kosher V’Sameach!!! ML
